1. Overview

At ReDomain, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on our products and services. Due to the nature of domain registration and SSL certificate services, our refund policy varies by product type.

2. Domain Registration Refunds

2.1 New Domain Registrations

Domain registrations are generally non-refundable because they involve immediate processing and third-party registry fees. However, certain TLDs offer a grace period:

2.2 Domain Renewals

Domain renewals are non-refundable. We recommend disabling auto-renewal if you do not wish to renew a domain. We send multiple renewal reminders before the renewal date.

2.3 Domain Transfers

Domain transfer fees are non-refundable once the transfer has been initiated. If a transfer fails due to issues on our end, we will provide a full refund or retry the transfer at no additional cost.

3. SSL Certificate Refunds

3.1 Before Issuance

If your SSL certificate has not been issued, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

3.2 After Issuance

Once an SSL certificate has been issued, it is generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made in the following cases:

  • Certificate was issued with incorrect information due to our error
  • Technical issues prevented certificate installation
  • Certificate Authority revokes the certificate through no fault of yours

3.3 Certificate Reissuance

SSL certificate reissuance is free of charge during the certificate validity period if you need to:

  • Change the server or hosting provider
  • Generate a new private key
  • Add or modify domain names (where applicable)

4. WHOIS Privacy Protection

WHOIS Privacy Protection is included free with eligible domains and cannot be refunded separately. If you cancel a domain registration that qualifies for a refund, the WHOIS Privacy is automatically cancelled.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your ReDomain account
  2. Go to "My Account" → "Orders"
  3. Find the order you wish to refund
  4. Click "Request Refund" or contact our support team
  5. Provide a reason for your refund request

6. Refund Processing

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund processed within 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: Refund processed within 3-5 business days
  • Bank Transfer: Refund processed within 7-14 business days
  • Account Credit: Available immediately for future purchases

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

7. Promotional and Discounted Products

Products purchased with promotional discounts or special offers:

  • May have different or limited refund terms
  • Refund amount may be adjusted to reflect the actual value received
  • Free products included with promotions are non-refundable

8. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your payment provider instead of contacting us for a refund:

  • Your account may be suspended immediately
  • Associated services may be terminated
  • You may be held liable for chargeback fees
